Anamorphic flares and sun glow
Anamorphic lenses stretch bright lights into long horizontal streaks. That flare is a big part of the widescreen cinema look, and here it comes as a ready plate.
Sun glow and haze plates are softer. Put them in a corner where the light would come from to warm up a flat outdoor photo.
