Halftone overlays
Halftone is how printing presses fake grey with only black ink: small dots for light tones, big dots for dark. These PNGs carry the screen itself on a transparent background, so you can drop them on anything.

Gradient plates fade from small to large dots, which works well as a vignette or a print-style edge. Flat plates give an even 50% screen, good for poster backgrounds and comic-style fills.
Every screen is rendered at twice the final size and scaled down, so the dot edges stay clean instead of jagged.
