How to use it
- Place the JPG over your image as a new layer.
- Set the blend mode to Multiply. The white drops out and only the dark marks stay.
- Rotate or flip the layer so the pattern does not repeat across a series.
- To get white marks instead, invert the layer (Ctrl+I) and set it to Screen.
- File → Open & Place the JPG.
- Set the layer mode to Multiply.
- Lower opacity if it feels too strong.
- File → Open as Layers.
- Set the layer mode to Multiply.
- Adjust opacity.
- File → Place the JPG.
- Set the blend mode to Multiply.
- Adjust opacity.
