8mm and Super 8 film grain

8mm and Super 8 are home movie formats with a tiny frame. The grain is big, soft and uneven, and that is exactly why people want it: it reads instantly as family footage from the 70s and 80s.

Pair these plates with a Super 8 frame border and some light dust, and a phone clip starts to look like it came out of a shoebox of old reels.
